Line pipe is used for the construction of oil and gas pipeline transporting both conventional and hydrogen-sulfide-containing and corrosive media; for gaslift systems; field facility construction, including the ones in the Far North.
Line pipe is made of metal produced in-house in Electric Furnaces, treated by synthetic slags at Ladle Furnace, and cast at Continuous Casting Machine.
This manufacturing method ensures metal pure in terms of harmful impurities (sulphur and phosphorus), which determines the high strength, plastic and corrosive properties of pipe when operating under low temperatures and in corrosive media.
